日本語 · English · العربية

Multilingual websites in Japanese, English and Arabic.

Japanese + English included in the base plan — Arabic and right-to-left layouts too

A site for overseas customers or visitors to Japan doesn't work if the words are just run through a translation tool. At HexaPoint, the person building your site works in Japanese, English and Arabic, and handles everything from localising the copy to per-language URLs and telling search engines which version is which.

The difference

What separates a multilingual site from a translated one.

  • 01

A separate URL for every language

Google recommends a different URL for each language version, and advises against switching the language with cookies or browser settings. We give every language its own URL (/ja/, /en/ …) and connect them with hreflang.

  • 02

    Localisation, not machine translation

We rewrite the copy for how each audience thinks and searches — not swap words one for one.

  • 03

    Arabic built right-to-left

Arabic pages mirror the whole layout, handle mixed numbers and Latin text correctly, and use a typeface designed for Arabic script.

  • 04

    SEO planned per language

People search for the same service with different words in each language. We research keywords per language and write titles and descriptions for each.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Which languages do you support?
Japanese, English and Arabic. A Japanese + English site is included in the Base Design Plan, and Arabic is built with a right-to-left layout.
Is the translation done by machine?
We never publish raw machine translation — every page is finished by hand for its audience. If you only need documents translated, see our translation service.
Do I really need separate URLs per language?
Google recommends a different URL for each language. When the language is switched inside a single URL, search engines may never find the other versions.
Can you just add languages to my existing site?
Talk to us. Depending on how your site is built it may be possible — though sometimes rebuilding is cheaper and better. We'll look and give you an honest recommendation.
How much does it cost?
A Japanese + English site is included in the Base Design Plan (from ¥100,000). Arabic or a full per-language URL structure is quoted on the number of pages and languages. Quotes are free.
